Who is Jesus ?
Jesus is God the creator, who came down to be one of us, to do what no human could ever do, which was to live a perfect life without sin.
Why did he suffer and die ?
Due to the fall from grace, which occurred in the Garden of Eden, we all have lost our connection with God and the state of holiness that we need to spend eternity with him. His sacrifice makes that state of grace available again. Through one persons sin, all people became guilty of sin, through one persons (Jesus) sacrifice, we all have the opportunity to be free from sin.
What does it mean to me ?
This means that I can live a truly amazing life, both on earth now and with God, after this life, in eternity
Lord and Savior ?
Lord and Savior, means that Jesus is our savior through his sacrifice, but that is one side of the coin. He is also God and Lord of all. We cannot have him as our savior and not have him as our Lord.
What now ?
Now, if you believe this is true, the first thing you should do is ask Jesus to become your Lord and Savior.
Start reading the bible.
Start attending a solid, bible believing church. A list of churches we recommend is here.
You need to be discipled. That just means you need to be mentored in God.
